Step 1
Register your team
Form a team of 3 eligible students from the same college. A faculty coach from your college must register the team.
Step 2
Make payment
The registration fee is ₹1,500 per team.
Step 3
Registration confirmation
Your registration will be reviewed and confirmed within 40 hours.

Practice contest
Starts September 26, 2026
Registered teams can practice on CodeChef using Safe Exam Browser (SEB). Setup instructions are emailed to registered teams.
Safe Exam Browser does not work on Linux.
Step 6
Online preliminary contest
October 3, 2026 · 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Compete from a proctored environment under the prescribed contest conditions. Coaches make the necessary arrangements for their teams.
Step 7
Onsite shortlisting
Notified by October 15, 2026
Teams are shortlisted based on the published onsite selection criteria.
Step 8
Regional onsite contest
January 1–2, 2027
Travel to your assigned site and compete across our 4 host campuses: Kollam · Bengaluru · Coimbatore · Mysuru.

Absolutely. ICPC is open to eligible university students, and you do not need to be an expert competitive programmer to participate.
An ICPC team consists of three contestants, subject to the official eligibility rules.

The preliminary-round registration fee for Indian teams is ₹1,500 per team.
Yes. The ICPC India Preliminary Round is conducted online, on 3 October 2026 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Not necessarily. Amritapuri is a multisite regional with four locations — Kollam, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Mysuru — so you can choose the city that works best for your team.
